Evento (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Evento mobile application, including in-app purchases and membership subscriptions.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services.

a. Personal Information

  • Phone number (optional): Collected when you choose to provide it to enable communication between service providers and users. This allows both parties to contact each other before or after a booking to confirm availability, service details, or coordination.
  • Address (optional): Collected only when required for booking-related purposes, such as identifying the service location or meeting point.
  • Any information you voluntarily submit within the app.

Providing a phone number or address is not required to use the core functionality of Evento unless the user initiates or participates in a booking.

b. Camera & Photo Library Access

  • Camera access: Used only when you choose to take photos within the app (for example, uploading event images or profile photos).
  • Photo library access: Used only when you select existing photos to upload or share inside the app.

Evento does not access your camera or photo library without your explicit permission.

c. In-App Purchases & Memberships

  • All payments are processed securely through Apple’s App Store.
  • Evento does not collect or store payment card or billing information.
  • Apple may share limited purchase-related data (such as subscription status) to enable premium features.

d. Automatically Collected Information

  • Device type and operating system
  • App usage and performance data
  • Crash and diagnostic data (used only to improve stability and performance)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain app functionality
  • Facilitate communication between service providers and users before or after bookings
  • Enable premium features and memberships
  • Verify and manage subscriptions
  • Improve user experience and app performance
  • Provide customer support
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

3. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

  • Memberships and subscriptions are auto-renewable
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • Subscription management and cancellation are handled through the user’s Apple ID account settings
  • Pricing, duration, and features are clearly displayed before purchase

4. Data Storage & Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill its purpose or comply with legal obligations.

5. Third-Party Services

Evento may use trusted third-party services (such as analytics tools or Apple’s payment system) that operate under their own privacy policies and comply with applicable data protection laws.

6. User Rights & Choices

You may:

  • Use Evento without providing optional personal information
  • Grant or revoke camera and photo permissions through your device settings
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions via Apple ID settings
  • Request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us

7. Children’s Privacy

Evento is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on our official Privacy Policy page.
